Free personalized letter from the Easter Bunny

I just began my search on finding websites for free personalized letters from the Easter Bunny. I did find one really quick – http://www.afreeletterfromsanta.com. It works pretty slick; you type out your childs name, state if your child is a boy or girl, hometown, state, and what your child calls you (example: mommy and daddy). Once you pick these options, there are then 5 different versions of the letter that you can choose from. Among these is a “Baby’s First Easter” version so it looks like Treyton is in luck! Once you have selected your template all you need to is print!

I really think Rylee will enjoy having these special letters from the Easter Bunny. I looked at all of these templates quickly and it seems as though these are letters that are sent from the Easter Bunny prior to Easter. I’ll have to continue looking to see if I can find any that are left by the Easter Bunny on the day of Easter.

Blurb.com

I just stumbled upon this new create-your-own book site tonight, and I’m kind of excited I found it. The site is called Blurb.com.  I know there are several sites like this around, so I’m interested to see what the difference is between all of the others and this one. I have only created one photo book so far and that was using Shutterfly. Which by the way, is a great photo site and has many fantastic tools to use.

I think I might give this one a try and make a picture book for Treyton. I found the idea where instead of buying a picture book that teaches your child basic words, make your own with objects that he will recognize from his environment. This will be a fun project and something that Rylee can help me with.  Beware Chipper, we will hunt you down for another photo shoot!

Tastebook.com - Make your own custom cookbook

For those of you that know me, I’m all about recipe books and trying new foods. It’s a passion that I really enjoy;  I just wish I had more time to devote to cooking.

I found this website that I think I’ll find a very good use for. Tastebook.com allows you to create your very own recipe book.  You can add recipes from some of the well known recipe sites on the web or you can add your own.

The cookbook is put together as an expandable binder so you can add up to 100 pages. You can order these pages whenever you wish! You can add professional recipes or add your own recipes with personal photos and cooking notes.

If you aren’t interested in putting together your own book, you can purchase one of their Starter Tastebooks that include 50 recipes. These are wonderful ideas for wedding or baby shower gifts, housewarming parties or any holiday.

I haven’t completed my book yet that I’m putting together but hope to sometime in the next few months. I just need to find the time to put it together and add my own recipes.

Wow, so that was fast. It sure didn’t take them long to get to the million free sub mark. As of late last night when I posted this, it was about 660,000 free subs. I’m not even sure I got mine because I haven’t received the email coupon from them. But just think that’s 1 million people that visited their web site and that will visit their stores. Although they gave away free subs, they’ll be gaining a lot of business that may have gone elsewhere for lunch or dinner!

They will put you in their marketing database, but if you don’t care about receiving some marketing emails, sign up for a tasty treat. I have registered at a few fast food places or restaurants and they do really send some good deals now and then and sometimes free!

Get 1200 Free Prints at Artscow.com

I came across Artscow.com on a coupon site that I visit frequently. I haven’t used these 1200 free credits yet, but I definitely plan on placing an order soon. I haven’t printed pictures since before Treyton was born in November, so I have hundreds and hundreds to be printed. By signing up you get 1200 free prints – 600 4×6′s and 600 5×7′s! That is amazing!

When you sign up for the site, there is also a Credit & Discount section where it lists the credits you have available and from the looks of it, there are TONS! The coupon expiration dates are staggered over a 2-year period, what a great deal!

I’ll keep you posted on the quality of the pictures. With these great deals, it’s definitely worth a shot!

2. Knowledge is very powerful and I love sharing what I read and what i find. This whole Web 2.0 world is very interesting, it’s one big can of worms.

3. I have a few projects in my mind and hopefully some day they will come to fruition. Along the way I’ll document some of these little nuggets of information that I find along the way.

Why the name, “A Mile a Minute”? I actually had a few other names in mind, but they were taken.  I chose this title because that’s literally how I live my life; I have one foot in the door and one foot out at all times.

This blog isn’t going to be about anything specific, just randomness at its best. I like to read magazines and blogs and share what I think is quality information so why not put it out there for everyone.

And now…I must figure out this whole WordPress design thing. As some of you may know I like to play, so customizing I will go!
